Welcome to my licensed Day home website!
My name is Gurpreet Kaur ( Preet) and my goal is to provide your child with a fun, clean, safe, comfortable environment where they can play and learn with guidance and loving care while you are working or attending school. At We Wonders Day home, we learn through play and offer a vast variety of activities and toys that will spark their imaginations.
I am dedicated to the children in my care providing them with the best environment possible to learn and grow. I offer an inviting and loving environment in hopes of helping you raise a happy, loving, kind and independent child. Working with children is the best job there could be…nothing is better than watching a child learn and grow with giggles and hugs as the reward!
Our Commitment to Parents
Finding a quality Day home for your child can be both time consuming and a scary task. Nothing is better than a parent whose mind is at ease knowing that they have chosen the best environment for their child. Every parent really does deserve to feel good about their Day home choice just as every child deserves to be in the best environment that meets their needs. Day home me is such an exciting new adventure for your little one, it doesn’t have to be a daunting task!
My dedicated Day home space is large, bright and full of engaging activities both inside and out. I help prepare the children and teach them the things they need to know when entering kindergarten. Some things that are taught, but not limited to, are letter and number recognition, letter sounds to help with reading, printing, cutting skills (and other fine motor skills), and the independence of doing things for themselves creating higher self-esteem. Along with this, we enjoy doing circle time where we sing songs, talk about the weather and the days of the week, interactive learning time and read stories.
I am a firm believer that outdoor play is a necessity in every child’s day! Therefore, when weather permits, we spend as much time as we can outside and sometimes go across the street to the green space and playground for some extra fun.
